- U.S. Supreme Court ruling on U.S vs. VERDUGO-URQUIDEZ, 494 U.S. 259 (1990)
Start reading at "The Fourth Amendment provides: [494 U.S. 259, 265]". I find it very interesting (and ironic) that the ACLU actually had a voice in defending, to some extent, the 2nd Amendment actually does "seem to" imply the individuals RKBA. This is a 1990 ruling regarding the 4th Amendment, but some of the wording actually favors the 2nd.
- U.S. v. Emerson, 46 F.Supp.2d 598 (N.D.Tex. 1999)
An very interesting opinion written by a U.S. District Court Judge in Texas regarding the RKBA. He breaks down the 2nd Amendment in various ways and justifies it as an individual right.
- Violence in America, Effective Solutions
An nice analysis written by 38 doctors. Favorably compares risk/benefit of firearm use to, for instance, visiting the doctor.
- Whether the Second Amendment Secures an Individual Right
The Second Amendment secures a right of individuals generally, not a right of States or a right restricted to persons serving in militias.
